Orthodontics

Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. Orthodontic treatment is the design and use of devices for correction.

Dental braces work so that when you set a small pressure on the teeth from time to time the dental braces will slowly move the teeth into the proper tooth row. As the teeth move, the tooth bone changes its form towards the set pressure.

Improper subordination of teeth, called malocclusion, besides aesthetic problems, also can lead to tooth decay and sometimes to painful dental diseases.

Orthodontic treatment is suitable for everyone, but the ideal time to start the treatment is before or during the period of puberty.
